There’s nothing quite like end of summer weddings. With sunshine galore and gorgeous weather that usually greets guests with cooler temps, late August wedding days will always hold a special place in our hearts. When #LabelBride Kallan and Josh’s cool Cannon Falls, Minnesota wedding photos arrived in our inbox, best believe our jaws hit the ground. Modern wedding details, maximal wedding flowers, and artistic wedding photography were just a few of the many elements we obsessed over. Take a peek below if you’re searching for minimalistic summer wedding inspiration.

MODERN BRIDAL STYLE

Starting off the day in a cool crinkle bridal pajama set, Kallan set the tone for her sophisticated and simple wedding style. As she sat in her luxury bridal loungewear, her finishing hair and makeup touches were completed. Kallan’s sleek bridal pony was trendy, while her more timeless natural wedding makeup made sure to not stray too far from tradition.

Her on-trend bridal hair and makeup effortlessly complimented her pearl wedding accessories. Kallan wore dangling pearl drop earrings and fingerless pearl wedding gloves. Her ‘Harper Pearl Drops’ earrings stood out with her hair pulled back into a chic bridal updo. The mix of current wedding trends and classic wedding details was once again a key element of this simplistic bridal style.

‘SLOAN’ WEDDING DRESS

Continuing to keep things simple, Kallan wore our ‘SLOAN’ wedding dress down the aisle. Discovering SLOAN at a&bé bridal shop Minneapolis, Kallan loved everything about this satin cowl neck slip wedding dress. The strappy open back and sheath fit matched her straightforward wedding vision to a tee.

Since Kallan decided not to wear a veil, the gown’s low v-back could be clearly seen in almost every photo. Her wavy bridal ponytail didn’t distract from the fun criss-cross strap detail and Kallan kept things comfy when it came to her choice of wedding shoes. Selecting a closed-toe white bridal pump with block heels, we love this modern wedding shoe style. The thick ankle straps offered lots of support and the chunkier heel was perfect for walking along the grounds of their countryside wedding venue outside of Minneapolis.

VIBRANT WEDDING FLOWERS

While most of Kallan and Josh’s wedding color palette was monotone, there was one piece of wedding decor that the couple decided to add color to. Their wedding flowers were bright and bold, incorporating shades of pink, orange, and red.

Perfect for their refined summer wedding, we loved their vivid wedding bouquets and floral installation at the altar. We always encourage our brides to be true to themselves and this fresh wedding decor spoke to Kallan and Josh’s fun sense of style and vibrant personalities.

WEDDING PHOTOS DURING GOLDEN HOUR

Following their airy and minimal indoor ceremony, Kallan, Josh, and their wedding party made their way outdoors. With colorful wedding flowers in hand and huge smiles on their faces, they posed for group wedding photos.

After taking wedding party portraits, Kallan and Josh made their way to the open fields beside their remote Minnesota wedding venue. Wandering through grassy patches and heading over rolling hillsides, their golden hour wedding photos are some of our favorites.

With glowing light drenching the couple, you can carefully observe their love and stunning wedding details. From Kallan’s statement train to Josh’s suit, these retro wedding photos are idyllic.

WEDDING PHOTO AESTHETIC

Another beautiful touch from Kallan and Josh’s big day was their wedding photography aesthetic. Encompassing modern photos as well as blurry wedding moments, each snapshot speaks to their love story in such a captivating way.

Some of their golden hour wedding photos appear grainy. Looking like antique film photos that the couple will treasure for years to come. Not only can this photo aesthetic be seen in their sunset couple portraits, but also in the black and white wedding polaroids that could be found at their indoor reception. Sprinkled on a reception table, moments from their big day were made into tangible memories.
